FUN-tastic jouRneY

Ok people..no more introductory words..let's come straight to the story.

We've told u before about the camp of class IX. This time we're going to share those mazzedar experiences of the camp of class VII..

It was a "Rock climbing and Mountaineering Training" camp held in
Bankura,WB..It was a four-day camp,totally in d lap of nature..
This time..we were lucky enough not to wear a Saree (:P!!)..but that was the first night stay away from our family for all of us..So..a strange fear captured our mind at first. And adding to that,we were given small tents (having places for 3-5 person) in a Eucalyptus forest(The only animal in d jungle was bears :D)...Our tent had capacity for three members..Promita,Poulami & Tatini.Fortunately or unfortunately..our tent was at the rear end of all...

We were given a routine according to which, we have to wake up at 4 o' clock and then go to the fitness training covering a loooong
1.5 km way jogging..(ufff)....First day..the trainer sirs nd ma'ams gave us some light training(which were actually the basics of climbing) like how to keep and divide body balance, how to tie different types of knots(which was enough to transform our brain into some complex knots :P) , how to build a tent, how to make a small fire for some warmth( OMG..that too had 3 separate methods) and some forest principles we must follow..actually we all were so tired after the really long train journey that we could hardly form any idea about which they were trying to say.. (:D)

The actual training of Rock climbing started on day 2..We were divided into eight separate groups with a team leader and a leading trainer..and I've no doubt to say that the day was the most memorable to me.The mountain they chose was really a tough one but under their superior quality of training, we all were able to say "Pappu paas ho gaya(!)"..but some of our friends were really very scared in spite of being given best quality of instruments(rope, catcher and many more)..one of them,Sohini, was severely crying..she came to me and said,"If I die,Please promise me, u will send my body to my family"..(and yaa..! she was damn serious.!)..Anyway..that was the first wild safari for all of us and we enjoyed it quite well. After climbing, next day it was the turn of 'Raftling'..that actually seemed tougher to me.Anyway..we again proved to have enough guts to pass that test too.

In the meantime..let's come to the story of our tent.It was a fun ride for the three of us and I can't exactly tell what we actually used to do inside (:P..!!) , but our tent got collapsed five times in those four days..(:D) .Plus,Tatini had a very bad and irritating habit of uttering stupid during whole night in her sleep.Every evening, we enjoyed some fun-sessions and the camp-fire party @ the last evening was most praise-worthy.It went on so well with active participation of the students, teachers and even the trainers. The mild breeze of the upcoming winter, those bright stars in the night sky,the warmth of the fire and of course we--everything blended so well with each other and made the environment so..so romantic....Anyway there was a special dinner for us that night, making all foodies like us very very happy after three and a half days' diet foods..

We actually enjoyed each second and each moment of this fun-filled trip and kept all those memories as an asset for the rest of our life.
